“All that we see or seemIs but a dream within a dream.”
EDGAR ALLAN POE, A Dream Within a Dream

acrylic and spray paint on wood panel
A reminder of equanimity in the midst of the metropolitan hustle. The hard linear geometric forms representing the daily grind in our hot and expensive city, contrasted with the heavy cooling organic matter. A daily meditation on death.
Think of the deep listening of a great white whale, but made human. When we take in this meditative space, the concrete geometry becomes sacred, soft and otherworldly. This piece is meant to induce tranquility, reminding us to surrender and float rather than tread and exhaust.
